13.09.2008 Church Family Breakfast - The Gift of Hearing with Glenda Froyland

Join Us! Saturday 13th September 7.30 am at Scots Presbyterian Church to enjoy breakfast, fellowship and  hear Glenda's remarkable story

Glenda became deaf due to Meniere’s disease. The attacks left her ill and debilitated, but worse they caused almost total hearing loss in both ears.
Glenda’s story is of her journey from the world of hearing into the isolation of deafness and back.

Now a bi-lateral cochlear implantee, Glenda was invited by Cochlear Ltd to be an ambassador for their Cochlear Awareness Network. She now gives presentations to raise awareness of the wonderful changes in her life in the hope of bringing hearing to more people than ever before.

This is a by donation only event - For catering purposes we ask you to register by contacting Gerhardt.  Simply click here and let him know how many are coming in your party.
